Hayworth addresses concerns on consequences of current interest rate policy for retirees

US Congresswoman Nan Hayworth, MD (NY-19) questioned Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke regarding issues important to the Hudson Valley during testimony today before the House Committee on Financial Services. Congresswoman Hayworth raised concerns regarding the consequences for retirees from low rates of return on safer investments as a result of the current interest rate policy.
